Information stored in the app
Lantern can store your display name, onboarding preferences, reflections, moods, saved wisdom, notes, and photos you choose to add. This information is stored locally on your device.
Accounts
Lantern does not require a user account. There is no public profile, social feed, or account password in the app.
Photos
If you add photos to Lantern, those photos are used only for the journal entry or moment you attach them to. Lantern does not upload your photos to a Lantern server.
Subscriptions
Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment details. Lantern may use subscription status information to unlock paid features, restore purchases, and manage access.
Support email
If you contact support, we will receive the email address you use and the information you include in your message. We use that information to respond to your request.
Analytics and advertising
Lantern does not sell your personal information and does not use advertising trackers. If analytics are added in a future version, this policy will be updated before that version is released.
Your choices
You can remove Lantern data by deleting entries in the app or deleting the app from your device. If you need help with a support request, contact us at support@lanterndaily.app.
Changes
We may update this policy as Lantern changes. The latest version will be posted on this page.
